Thank goodness it is starting to warm up. I was starting to think it was never going to let up. I gave the tack room a good cleaning and it looks so good I hardly want to step into it for fear I'll dirty it up again. Today was a nice 28 at my place and perfect to take a ride. Snidely has been hanging around for some time while I work the younger horses so I dedicated today's ride to him.
Took him to the trails to blow of some stream and stream he did let off. He felt so good and was thankful to be able to really stretch his legs.
I came home and to my surprise my purple skid boots I ordered just for Snidely came in today. Can hardly wait to use them!

Even though we are only a few days into the new year it is already promising to be a great one, filled with athletic horses, and talented kids. Chic is be entering her first show season this spring, and may even be carrying some of my students around the ring.
After a year off from the show ring Snidely will once again be stepping foot into the show ring, this time sporting a close contact saddle. You will definitely be seeing him and some of my advanced students aboard him.
Dollar has a lot of catching up to do but even he too will be making an appearance on the show grounds.
We also have a full schedule of clinics this summer sponsored by Huffman Horse Center. Be sure to reserve your spot for the Jan. 30th Dummy Roping Clinic.
That's all for now. Hope you all have a fantastic New Year!
